Happy Holidays from all of us at Selinsgrove Speedway! The historic Snyder County oval’s 69th year will open with the two-day Modified Spectacular the weekend of Friday, March 14 and Saturday, March 15! Friday’s event will feature the 358 modifieds, with the Race of Champions big block modifieds being showcased in the Seventh Annual Icebreaker 40 paying $5,000 to win on Saturday.

Our annual Motorsports Show at the Susquehanna Valley Mall, Hummels Wharf, will follow the modified opener Sunday, March 16 through Friday, March 21. Season reserved seat tickets will be available to purchase at the mall (Sun. 1- 4 p.m.; Mon.-Thurs. 6:30-9 p.m.; Fri. 5:30-7:30 p.m.). The season kickoff ceremony will be held FRIDAY at 7:30 p.m.

On Saturday, March 22, race car tech inspections will be held at the track for Selinsgrove Speedway competitors as well as an open practice session for go karts and micro sprint cars at Selinsgrove Raceway Park (times TBA).

The 410 sprint cars will be in action at 2 p.m. the next day, Sunday, March 23. The 410 sprint cars will also compete at Selinsgrove on May 25 (Ray Tilley Classic), July 6 (Opperman Memorial/PA Speedweek), and September 13 (Jim Nace Memorial National Open).

A regular show in 2014 will consist of 358-360 sprint cars, late models, pro stocks, and roadrunners.

The first four division show of the season will be spun off at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 29.

The World of Outlaws Late Model Series will return in 2014 to sanction the 16th Annual Late Model Open Saturday, Aug. 30 and Sunday, Aug. 31! Sunday night’s finale will pay $10,000 to win!

The Three State Flyers Super Late Model Series is scheduled to make at least one appearance this season on May 3rd.

Tentatively, the United Racing Company (URC) 360 sprint cars will sanction six races and the Empire Super Sprints (ESS) will make three appearances at the track in 2014.

Season reserved seats in the covered grandstand are available for $40 each. Season reserved seats in select rows in the frontstretch bleachers, first turn bleachers, and lawn chair terrace are available for $35 each. You will have until Saturday, March 29, to renew your reserved seats before they go on sale to the general public.
