Chicagoland Speedway is a 1.5 mile, D shaped paved oval near Joliet, IL. The track was built adjacent to the existing, successful Route 66 Raceway.
Grundy County Speedway is a 1/3 mile banked, paved oval, located on the Grundy County Fairgrounds near Morris, Illinois. Banking is 12 degrees on the straights and 22 degrees in the corners.

Southern Illinois Center features an indoor 1/6 mile dirt oval used for midgets and karts. The center is located on the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds and complements the 1 mile outdooor track which has operated on the Fairgrounds for quite some time.

Blackhawk Farms Raceway is a 1.95-mile road course located near South Beloit in northern Illinois.
Chicago Motor Speedway is a 1.029 mile oval located in Cicero, Illinois just outside of Chicago. The track is not in operation at this time.
Godfrey Speedway was a 1/4 mile semi-banked dirt oval located near Godfrey, Illinois.
Santa Fe Speedway operated 2 dirt ovals of 7/16 and 1/4 miles, located in Willow Springs, Illinois on the outskirts of Chicago.
Soldier Field has, in addition to serving as home to the Chicago Bears, served as an auto racing venue at various times in its long history. The final auto racing track was torn out in 1970. The original stadium was gutted and rebuilt in 2002.
Chanute Field was the site of a temporary airport circuit used by the SCCA briefly in the 50s. It was a SAC base located in Rantoul, Illinois, and is now the Rantoul National Aviation Center. Today the site is used for SCCA Solo events.
Elgin Automobile Road Races were sponsored by the Elgin Watch Company, and held intermittantly until the mid 1930s on a temp road circuit outside Elgin, Illinois.
Meadowdale International Raceway was a 3.27 mile road course near Carpentersville, Illinois. It opened in 1958, and was used until 1969. The site of the track is now a forest preserve and the original track is serving as a walking path.
Times-Herald Race was the first scheduled auto race in North America. It ran from Jackson Park in Chicago north to Evanston and back.
